Llandrindod Wells is an unusual and delightful
town, not many places can boast the variety of sights and events this
town can. For starters the stunning countryside, wherever you are in the
town you can see the hills and you are always within walking distance
of the surrounding countryside.
The town has most of the facilities visitors expect to see, there is a beautifully scenic and challenging golf course, there are also indoor and outdoor bowls, tennis courts, various museums and theatres as well as the Rock Park gardens with its nature walks and spa waters. All of these are within 5 minutes walking distance of the hotel. The beautiful Llandrindod Lake, with its park and childrens play area is only a few minutes walk and is definitely worth a visit There is a restaurant and coffee house at the Lake as well as a |

| well-stocked craft shop. Adjacent to the Lake you can enjoy a walk through one of our ancient mixed forests and take in the views. The centre of the town has a range of individual shops that offer typical Welsh Arts & Crafts and there are tearooms and cafes to suit everyone's taste. The Friday market is busy and bustling. |

There is however much more than all this! There is a wealth of wildlife, it is not unusual for local school children to be greeted by a squirrel sitting on the school gate |
